Carl concentrates his practice in commercial and business litigation at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts. He handles a variety of matters including:
- trade secret and restrictive covenant claims
- intellectual property litigation
- shareholder and stock purchase agreement disputes
- pharmaceutical and biotechnology litigation
- breach of contract claims
- employment termination cases
- real estate litigation
- insurance coverage disputes
Throughout his career, Carl has obtained large settlements and significant decisions for his corporate and private clients. He is also a member of the firm’s multidisciplinary Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Practice Group.
Carl has served on the Board of Directors for the Allegheny County Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association. He also serves on fundraising committees for the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council and for the Pittsburgh Public Theater.
