Justin concentrates his practice on representing closely held and family-controlled businesses, including health care providers. He provides a broad range of services, including:
- general corporate representation
- real estate services and transactions, including the lease, purchase, and sale of commercial properties and property tax appeals
- tax and business succession planning
Justin advises clients on several aspects of corporate law, including:
- choice and formation of entities, including the drafting of offering memoranda
- internal governance
- mergers and acquisitions, including the representation of buyers and sellers in leveraged buyouts
- negotiation of contracts and dispute resolution
- sale of medical practices and interests in ambulatory surgical centers and dialysis centers
Justin's real estate practice involves:
- purchase and sale of developed and undeveloped commercial property
- leases on behalf of landlords and tenants in retail, office, and commercial transactions
- property tax assessment appeals
Justin worked as an auditor for Grant Thornton LLP in New Jersey where he served primarily middle-market and emerging businesses, as well as several publicly traded companies. In 2001, Justin became licensed as a certified public accountant in Pennsylvania and maintans an active license status.
While pursuing his MBA at Carnegie Mellon University, Justin served as a marketing intern at H.J. Heinz, Co. As an undergraduate at Penn State University, he participated in accounting and finance co-op programs at International Business Machines Corp. and Johnson & Johnson.
